St Brigid's Green Visitor Policy

St Brigid's Green Residential Aged Care Home received directions from NSW Health South Eastern Area Health Service advising that in light of recent COVID-19 cases identified in the Potts Point area urgent actions for Aged Care Homes in the Eastern Suburbs are recommended to minimise the risk of introducing the virus.

The NSW Healh recommendations include;

  • Not allowing any visitors other than exceptional circumstances e.g. end of life; and
  • All staff to wear a surgical mask while in the home (irrespective of where staff live or where they have visited).

St Brigid's Green will enact these recommendations effective from midday 29th July 2020.

We do appreciate these are significant changes to our current policies and procedures but believe they are necessary to protect the safety and wellbeing of residents and employees. At this stage we do not have a date for when these restrictions will be relaxed but we will be monitoring local and government advice.

All visitors and team members who have travelled to Victoria in the previous 14 days (from 11 June 2020) will be denied entry to St Brigid's Green.

You will be denied entry if you have visited one of the following COVID-19 hot spots or case locations:
