Time for a Sea Change?

You’ve always enjoyed the Eastern Suburbs, so retiring at St Brigid’s Green was the obvious choice. Staying local meant you could still hop on the same bus to Eastgardens, or just walk 400m up the road to Pacific Square for a few groceries. As you sit on the balcony of your apartment, you watch the sunrise, silhouetting the Sydney skyline against the pink sky. You feel the cool breeze blowing in from Maroubra beach and you take a moment to appreciate where you are. You head inside and down the lift to the café for a coffee – who knew retirement living could be so easy?

The café is the place to be of a morning, with fellow residents meeting for morning tea at 10am. You can smell the coffee the minute you get out of the lifts, with the coffee machine running all day for those who love a little caffeine fix. Morning tea is prepared in-house by our team of chefs who pride themselves on creating a variety of tasty cakes, biscuits and sweets. The café is where our residents get together to catch up on village life and solve the problems of the world, and is the perfect place to socialise with others in our vibrant community.

Drenched with natural light, St Brigid’s Green is the perfect lifestyle choice. The village features a gym, a theatrette, a men’s shed, and is centred around a sunny Village Green – the perfect place to entertain guests or simply enjoy reading a book in the fresh air. Summer is barbeque season here in the village; our residents enjoy the outdoors and catching up with family over some good food while the grandkids run around on the green.

At St Brigid’s Green you’re encouraged to relax and let the village team look after your cleaning and meals. Don’t feel like cooking or cleaning this week? No problems, just visit us at the Reception desk and we will take care of it. Our team is always available to assist you.

Only a short trip to the Sydney CBD, St Brigid’s Green is well-located, close to shops, transport and cafés. Head into the City for a spot of shopping at the QVB, then be home in time for dinner in our dining room. There’s always something to do here in our thriving Maroubra village, with our residents enjoying a rich and varied social calendar filled with clubs, classes and outings.
